The Forward Investment Club proudly organizes Japan’s largest student-run investment competition, where participants engage in a months-long challenge to demonstrate their practical investment management skills. This prestigious event attracts top talent from universities across the country, offering a distinctive opportunity for aspiring investors to showcase their abilities in a real-world setting. In 2023, Waseda University emerged as the champion, exemplifying the high level of expertise and dedication within our community.
Porpose
The competition is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world investment practice. By providing a simulated trading environment, we allow students to engage in practical, risk-free investment scenarios, helping them develop the essential skills and insights needed for success in the financial world.
Duration

In 2023, students from over ten universities across Japan participated in the competition. In 2024, we are expanding to an international level, inviting teams from around the globe to compete in what is set to become the "Olympics of Investing." This global event not only challenges participants to test their skills against top talent from different countries but also fosters interaction and exchange within the international investment community.
